Newbie Help resolved

Wow! Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions. I hate to say but  
I'm not sure what we did exactly to fix it.
With some help from the ISP, I think, we got clean URL's activated  
and they changed some permissions,
I upped the timeouts in php.inc and suddenly it all started working.  
Then the original developer (nikki @ the DailyIllini) kicked in some  
quick changes and I'm in and it's working fairly well. So the demo to  
the "powers that be" is very much on and we're excited.

Thank You all so very much! What a great community. This'll weight as  
a big plus in our decision to use drupal.
