The Chicago Drupal Meet Up group has created cdmug.org as a group community project. The ultimate goal is to have a place for Chicago based Drupalers to show off and find development work. It will also be a place for companies to find talented Drupalers. The only way to get an account is to attend at least 1 meet up. After that, you can have full control of the web site. Hopefully a collection of Drupal developers can hack up a decent site.
