If you are looking for local resources, just want to learn more about drupal, or looking to share or network.... this is it. Drupal crowd is very open, and the meetup is very open (and geared) towards newbie types, intermediate and even advanced levels. Most meetings have sepearate portions dedicated to topics of interest to each level - and all meetings have an open mic period for general questions and help.
